Question 1: You’ve made it BIG & bagged some VIP Fashion Week tickets. You lucky devil you. But in your rush to get there & get yourself noticed you forgot your VIP Passes. The guy on the door says he will cut you a deal, you can go in only if you sacrifice either your Front Row seat, backstage privileges or goody bag. What’s it gonna be?
Honestly, there's no way I could give up the goody bag. Just the thought of that makes me feel lusty. When I read about and see pics of beauty swag bags from events, I feel extreme want and jealousy, thinking, "Someday..." I would sacrifice the front row seat. It didn't say anything about not being able to sit in the second row seat, right? ; )
The ultimate swag bag (70 lbs of loot!), as detailed by Maureen O'Connor in New York Magazine's The Cut. |
For the 4 items, I'd put in Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder in 02, Chanel Glossimer in Blizzard, Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer, and the Urban Decay Naked Palette. For perfume, I'd tuck in my absolute favorite, Lanvin's Eclat D'Arpege.

Question 3: What’s your biggest blogging bug bear? The one thing guaranteed to make your blood boil & have you screaming/eye rolling at your laptop?
Terrible blog design! AGH! They can make me feel sick at my stomach and immediately turn away from a blog. Even if a blog has great content, if it's not visually appealing to me, it's a no go. I prefer sleek, organized, simple, chic design.
Question 4: No more joining in Twitter chats only slightly relevant to your blog. You can only join in one blogger chat a week for the rest of your blogging days, which one’s it gonna be & why?
To be honest, I've only ever participated in one Twitter chat, and I felt out of control and panicky because things were moving so quickly. It was like the Kentucky Derby of tweeting, but with no gorgeous hats and sleek stallions. I obviously have a lot to learn!

Question 5: ‘Fess up, do you actually own any MAC? If so, what don’t you like about the product?
I own a few MAC products, but they aren't my go-to line. I love the sleek packaging and delicious displays, but I prefer browsing and trying out shades in a lower-pressure setting where you don't feel like stealth spies clad in all-black track your every move. I do love their Strobe Cream and the 227 is my holy grail brush for blending just about anything.

Question 6: The blogging Gods ban arm swatching, which body part will you swatch on now?
I'm a hand person! I prefer this to my arm because it's less like to rub off on my clothes, and I can easily hold the shades up to my face.

Question 7: Your blog's Instagram: is it for cats or meal shots?
Imagine me saying this in the voice of the Most Interesting Man in The World..."I don't currently have a cat, but when one of my friend's cats curls up with me, I post lots of snuggly cat pictures." I'm definitely a foodie, but I usually only post truly delicious and visually appealing items, which for me usually equates to sweet items.
